Similan dive boats (Available only from 15th October to 15th May)

The Similan islands opening season and Surin islands national park are only open from the 15th of October to the 15th of May. When it gets to the off-season most divers will choose to dive in Phuket where we also provide a day trip for a whole year.

What is the best time to go?
Depending on your holiday time in Thailand, you want to maximize your dives and your rest time, right?
Our scuba diving liveaboards longer than 2 days starts always in the evening, which means you can enjoy your day before departure and the cruise to Similan will be done at night. That allows us to pick up customers arriving on the day at the airport, from Phuket, or give time to customers to arrive from their previous destination.
Starting from 2 days 1 night, 3 days 3 nights, 4 days 4 nights, and up to 5 days, our Similan islands liveaboards have all the necessary comfort on board, you will have time to relax on the sundeck to get a tan, read a book in the saloon, sleep, relax, have a nice conversation with your dive instructor or buddy.

Which trip is suitable for you?

If you are coming to Thailand for diving specifically, I would say you better go with Similan liveaboard which always does 4-5 nights (15 dives) as a main program for all Similan liveaboard because the duration will be covered all popular dive spots here as following Similan islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu rock, Surin islands, and local wrecks as well but if you are traveling in Khaolak for just a few days, a day trip or at least 1 or 2 nights will be also available on a speedboat or our flexible liveaboard.

Is my diving level good enough?

Most of our Similan liveaboard dive boats welcome divers of all levels, and some even offer the PADI Open Water Course on board the liveaboard. However, for certified divers, there are some prerequisites for some trips. A few boats insist on divers being certified to 30m, and if you’re not, you can choose between the Adventure Deep Dive or Advanced course on board. With regards to the date of your last dive, almost all of our boats need you to have dived within 1 year of departure. This is a grey area because some divers have more than 50-100 dives but haven’t dived for 18 months, but there are also divers who have only 10 logged dives but the last one was 11 months ago.
